Job summary

SD Worx is seeking a Senior Developer to ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will work with a client-facing team and contribute across development, testing and support activities, coaching juniors as needed.

The role requires strong ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core skills, experience across frontend and backend, and a pragmatic, user-focused approach. Based in Kraków, Poland, with agile, collaborative teams and a strong emphasis on delivering value.

Qualifications

Degree in IT or related field.
5+ years of software development experience.
Experience in Agile development teams.
Experience with client- and server-side technologies.
Experience with CI/CD and cloud (Azure or AWS).
Experience writing secure applications and unit tests.
Knowledge of design and architectural patterns.

Responsibilities

Analyze user stories with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements.
Develop working software in Agile teams with UI/UX focus.
Design and develop software modules and business logic.
Own scope, content and quality per schedules.

The Senior Developer will have to ensure the delivery of quality software solutions via development, testing or support activities and is also actively involved in providing support to junior team members via reviewing and coaching activities if required.

Essential Duties

Functional and technical understanding and analysis of user stories in close collaboration with different stakeholders so that business requirements are clearly understood
Development of these user stories as working software in team-oriented collaboration in an agile way of working with feeling for UI/UX and focus on the customer
Design and development of software modules and business process logic
Taking the total ownership regarding scope, content and quality in accordance with agreed schedules, procedures and standards
Root cause analysis of defects/issues and drive resolution
Good communication skills (verbal & written) to achieve excellent customer service
Monitor and control metrics for development, testing or support area
Being a team player and flexible
