Job summary

Solid in Kraków is seeking a hands-on software engineer focused on Developer Experience (DevEx). You will build golden paths, templates, and reference implementations to accelerate onboarding and reduce variation across engineering teams.

You will develop real-world examples from production projects for teams to adopt, improve self-service onboarding and tooling at scale, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Risk & Control to deliver compliant, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on software engineering experience with at least one of Java, Kotlin, or Node.js.
• Proven experience building automation, reusable templates, reference implementations, and developer tooling.
• Good understanding of Developer Experience (DevEx) and how standardisation and automation simplify software delivery.
• Experience creating reusable engineering patterns or solutions adopted across multiple teams.
• Strong production engineering mindset including security, resilience, observability, and supportability.
• Ability to create clear and practical technical documentation, how-tos, and examples.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple engineering, platform, architecture, and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain golden paths, templates, reusable patterns, and reference implementations to accelerate onboarding.
• Develop real-world examples based on production projects for teams to adopt.
• Improve and automate self-service developer onboarding and tooling at scale.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Risk & Control teams to deliver compliant solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, how-tos, and implementation examples.
• Ensure guidance follows production standards for security, resilience, observability, and supportability.
