Job summary

CSHARK is seeking a Senior Deployment & Integration Engineer to own client deployments and integrations from MVP to production. You will work with an international team to generalise integrations into reusable capabilities, onboard and mentor engineers, and contribute to real-time voice and AI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own standard client deployments and integrations from MVP/pilot through production and BAU.
• Work with senior engineers on new and complex third-party integrations.
• Build and maintain integrations with contact-centre, telephony and external platforms.
• Work with real-time voice technologies including SIP, WebRTC, voice streaming, speech-to-text and text-to-speech.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs, microservices, webhooks and SDKs.
• Turn new integrations into generalised, reusable solutions for future clients.
• Work with Kotlin and Java services on GCP.
• Provision cloud infrastructure and support automated deployments using Terraform, CI/CD and containers.
• Work with PostgreSQL, Redis and Firestore.

Senior Deployment & Integration Engineer

We arelooking foraSenior Deployment & Integration Engineer tojoin aclient-facing engineering team working onanAI-powered platform andits integrations.

Inthis role, you will take ownership ofclient deployments andintegrations end toend — fromMVPs andpilots through integration, testing andUAT toproduction deployment, maintenance andBAU support. You will work closely withaninternational engineering team, including senior engineers based inCanada, todeliver newandmore complex integrations.

Akey part oftherole is turning integrations intoreusable capabilities. Rather than building bespoke solutions forevery customer, you will generalise newintegrations sothey canbe efficiently deployed forfuture clients using thesame providers andplatforms.

You will also help onboard andmentor additional deployment andconfiguration engineers as theteam grows.

Theproject is fully remote anddelivered within theclient’s controlled virtual desktop environment, where allcode anddata remain. Thecore technology stack is Kotlin andJava onGCP.

Your Daily Missions

• Owning standard client deployments andintegrations fromMVP / pilot through production andBAU.

• Working directly withcustomer technical teams totranslate requirements intoeffective technical solutions.
• Using AI coding tools toquickly understand andcontribute toanestablished codebase while carefully verifying generated output.
• Supporting andmentoring engineers joining thedeployment andconfiguration team.

TheEssentials We’re Seeking

• Strong commercial experience withKotlin andJava.
• Strong hands-on experience withGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience withTerraform, CI/CD, containerised deployments andcloud infrastructure provisioning.
• Strong experience building andintegrating REST APIs, microservices, third-party APIs, webhooks andSDKs.
• Experience withPostgreSQL, Redis andFirestore.
• Solid understanding ofauthentication andAPI security principles.
• Experience withunit, integration andAPI testing as well as supporting UAT.
• Hands-on experience withproduction deployments, logging, monitoring andtroubleshooting.
• Aproven track record ofbuilding integrations forreuse — creating asolution once andgeneralising it forsubsequent clients rather than repeatedly delivering bespoke implementations.
• Experience withreal-time oragentic integrations, ideally involving contact-centre ortelephony platforms, SIP, WebRTC, real-time voice streaming, speech-to-text ortext-to-speech.
• Ability toramp upquickly inamature codebase you did notbuild, including effective use ofAI coding tools combined withstrong engineering judgement andverification.
• Strong client-delivery mindset andtheability totranslate customer requirements intotechnical implementation.
• Confidence working across thecomplete delivery lifecycle: MVP, pilot, UAT, production andBAU.
• Strong troubleshooting andproblem-solving skills inproduction environments.
• Ability towork effectively withcustomer technical teams andmentor other engineers.
• Strong written andspoken English, used daily inaninternational environment.
• Experience withPub/Sub, queues andevent-driven processing.
• Experience withVertex AI orOpenAI APIs.
• Experience integrating LLMs, AI agents orconversational AI solutions.
• Experience designing oroperating high-availability andhigh-performance systems.
