Job summary

emagine Polska seeks a skilled data engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms on Azure using Microsoft Fabric. You will develop production PySpark pipelines and collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists and product owners.

The role is fully remote within Europe, with a minimum six-hour overlap with CET. The contract is initially 6–12 months, offering potential extensions and ongoing impact on digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable data platforms on Azure with Fabric.
• Hands-on PySpark data pipeline development in production.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and modern software practices.
• Strong communication in distributed, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Azure.
• Develop robust PySpark data pipelines for production use.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists and product owners in a cross-functional team.
• Review code, mentor teammates and promote best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.
• Document decisions and maintain platform reliability.
