Job summary

emagine Polska seeks a skilled data engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms on Azure using Microsoft Fabric. You will develop production PySpark pipelines and collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists and product owners.

The role is fully remote within Europe, with a minimum six-hour overlap with CET. The contract is initially 6–12 months, offering potential extensions and ongoing impact on digital transformation initiatives.

What you'll be doing

• Design, build and maintain scalable data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Azure.

• Review code, mentor teammates and promote engineering best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs clearly to both engineers and architects.
• Improve platform reliability, reduce technical debt and produce high-quality technical documentation.

What we’re looking for

Essential

• Strong experience building scalable data platforms on Azure using Microsoft Fabric.
• Hands‑on experience developing production PySpark data pipelines.
• Experience with CI/CD and modern software engineering practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work proactively within distributed, cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Interest or experience in Data Science or Machine Learning.
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools and modern engineering workflows.
