Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join the Data & Analytics Competence Center. You will design and build modern data platforms on Microsoft Fabric, integrating enterprise sources and enabling advanced analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities include developing scalable data solutions on Azure, working with PySpark and SQL, and mentoring junior engineers. The role requires 5+ years in Azure data engineering and residing in Poland, with Polish language proficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of Azure data engineering experience.
Expertise in Microsoft Fabric implementations.
Proficient in Python and SQL.
Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
Knowledge of Azure DWH, Data Lake, and security concepts.

Responsibilities

Develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise data solutions for reporting and analytics.
Work with structured data across finance, manufacturing, procurement, sales, and more.
Design scalable, secure data solutions on Azure using Fabric, Data Lake, and Databricks.
Create data models and schemas to support business needs.
Optimize performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of data solutions.
Ensure security and compliance across Azure architecture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data solutions.
