Job summary

State Street in Poland seeks an experienced Data Operations Specialist to help build and sustain client data capabilities across the Alpha services, collaborating with implementation, service management and IT teams worldwide.

You will optimize data delivery, perform root-cause analysis, support testing, and contribute to product enhancements while leveraging Bloomberg and market data knowledge in a fast-paced financial services setting.

Qualifications

• University degree in Data Management, Finance, Business or equivalent.
• Typically 3–5 years of industry experience across Financial Services or Data fields.
• Good knowledge of Bloomberg and/or other market data vendors.
• Strong SQL and database design knowledge; experience with multiple systems flow.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Rally, RTC) is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support data operations; ensure data delivered to clients on time, accurate and within scope.
• Become process/platform SME; perform root cause analysis of data issues and serve as point of contact.
• Independently perform work within guidelines and procedures.
• Support internal and client testing prior to go-live and post-production transitions.
• As part of the wider team, contribute to Alpha Data product enhancements and requirements.
• Collaborate with Alpha Data Implementation, Service Management and IT to share best practices and standardize processes.
