Job summary

Avenga is seeking an experienced Data Engineer in Poland to join our pharmaceutical-focused team. You will design scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, work with Snowflake to model and blend data, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver reliable data solutions.

You should have 5+ years in data engineering, strong SQL and Python skills, and experience with Airflow, dbt, and REST APIs. The role offers close collaboration with Finance and software teams and opportunities to shape data architecture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Solid hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Experience with ETL/ELT and data integration.
• Experience with Talend.
• Knowledge of Airflow, dbt or similar orchestration/transformation tools.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Good understanding of cloud data platforms and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformations.
• Work with Snowflake to blend, model and materialize data from multiple sources.
• Develop advanced SQL and Python solutions.
• Build and maintain data pipelines using Airflow, dbt or similar tools.
• Develop REST APIs for data consumption by applications.
• Ensure data quality, performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, Software Engineers and Finance stakeholders.
• Contribute to technical standards and improve data solutions across the project.
