Job summary

Avenga is seeking a seasoned Data Engineer in Poland to strengthen our team in the pharma-focused services. You will design scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, work with Snowflake to model data, and develop robust SQL/Python solutions across heterogeneous sources.

You will also build data pipelines with Airflow or dbt, create REST APIs for data consumption, and ensure data quality and performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Solid hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Experience with ETL/ELT and data integration.
• Experience with Talend.
• Knowledge of Airflow, dbt or similar orchestration/transformation tools.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Good understanding of cloud data platforms and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformations.
• Work with Snowflake to blend, model and materialize data from multiple sources.
• Develop advanced SQL and Python solutions.
• Build and maintain data pipelines using Airflow, dbt or similar tools.
• Develop REST APIs for data consumption by applications.
• Ensure data quality, performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, Software Engineers and Finance stakeholders.
• Contribute to technical standards and improve data solutions across the project.
