Job summary

Sii Sp. z o.o. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions for the pharmaceutical sector from our Białystok office. You will contribute to building a modern data platform used across markets to support analytics and data-driven decision-making.

You will work with Python, AWS Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambda, and Step Functions in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust data pipelines and migrations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields.
• Strong Python development skills including object-oriented programming.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Solid understanding of cloud-based architectures and scalable data engineering solutions.
• Experience working in Agile teams and using modern software development practices.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a modern Data Engineering platform supporting data-driven business processes and analytics.
• Design and implement scalable data engineering solutions using modern Python development practices.
• Build reliable and maintainable data pipelines following object-oriented design principles.
• Collaborate with agile, cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support platform migrations, enhancements, and integrations across evolving business environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within existing data and processing pipelines.
