PeakData is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to own data pipelines end-to-end, from building production pipelines to integrating new data sources and contributing to backend services that power the platform. You will work on developing new pipeline components, cleaning up legacy services, maintaining infrastructure, and eventually integrating open data sources.

This is a hands‑on engineering role, not research or analytics.

Formación

• 4+ years in data or backend engineering.
• Strong production-grade Python and SQL skills.
• Experience shipping containerized services with Docker.
• Experience with data-sensitive environments is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Build and upgrade data pipelines from spec to production.
• Maintain and sunset legacy data services.
• Integrate new data sources and ensure production readiness.
• Collaborate with data scientists on handoffs to production.
• Keep infrastructure reliable with monitoring and alerting.
• Contribute to backend services where data and platform logic intersect.
