Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join the Data & Analytics Competence Center in Poland. You will design and build modern data platforms, integrate enterprise data sources, and enable advanced analytics and reporting using Microsoft Fabric on Azure.

You will work with Python, SQL, and PySpark to implement scalable data solutions, mentor junior engineers, and stay current with Azure technology trends in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Azure data engineering and data platforms.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric implementation projects.
• Advanced Python and SQL programming skills.
• Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps and security considerations in Azure.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level data solutions.
• Work with structured data across Finance, Manufacturing, Sales, and more.
• Design scalable, secure data solutions on Azure using Fabric and related tools.
• Create efficient data models and schemas to meet business needs.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of data platforms.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance across Azure architecture.
• Provide ongoing data issue support and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business goals.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated on Azure technologies and best practices.
