Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join its Data & Analytics Competence Center. You will design, build, and maintain modern data platforms on Microsoft Fabric, integrating enterprise sources and enabling advanced analytics.

Responsibilities include developing data solutions on Azure, modeling data, and mentoring junior engineers while ensuring security and compliance across the architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• 5+ years of experience in Azure data engineering and data platform.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric implementation projects.
• Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, Azure DWH, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, etc.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain data solutions on an enterprise-level platform for reporting and analytics.
• Work with structured data across finance, manufacturing, procurement, and marketing domains.
• Design and implement scalable, secure data solutions on Azure using Fabric, Data Lake, Databricks, ETL/ELT.
• Create and maintain efficient data models and schemas to support business needs.
• Optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance across Azure architecture.
• Provide ongoing support for data-related issues and troubleshoot problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business goals.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
• Stay up to date with the latest Azure technologies and best practices.
