Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join the Data & Analytics Competence Center in Kraków. You will design and build modern data platforms on Microsoft Fabric, integrating enterprise sources and enabling advanced analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities include developing scalable Azure data solutions, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring security and compliance across the architecture. Strong Polish communication and residing in Poland are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of Azure data engineering and data platform experience.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric implementation projects.
• Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise data solutions for reporting, apps, and analytics.
• Work with structured data across financial, manufacturing, procurement, sales & marketing.
• Design scalable, secure data solutions on Azure using Fabric, Data Lake, Databricks and ETL/ELT.
• Create and maintain data models and schemas to support business needs.
• Optimize data solutions for performance, scalability and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure security best practices and Azure compliance.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide timely support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with business goals.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative learning environment.
• Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and practices.
