Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join its Data & Analytics Competence Center in Poland. You will design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade data platforms on Azure, leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Data Lake, and Databricks to enable advanced analytics and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Azure data engineering and data platform.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric implementation projects.
• Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, Azure DWH, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of networking, security, identity management, and serverless computing in Azure.
• Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, ARM templates, or similar tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent Polish required; residing in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level data solutions for reporting, apps, and analytics.
• Work with structured data across finance, manufacturing, procurement, sales, pricing, etc.
• Design and implement scalable, secure data solutions on Azure using Fabric, Data Lake, Databricks, ETL/ELT.
• Create and maintain data models and schemas to support business needs.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of data solutions.
• Ensure Azure security best practices and compliance.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot data issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with business goals.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster learning.
