Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer with Microsoft Fabric to join our Data & Analytics Competence Center. You will design and build modern data platforms, integrate enterprise data sources, and enable advanced analytics and reporting.

The role focuses on Azure-based data solutions, PySpark and SQL, along with DevOps and security best practices. You\'ll mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams in Poland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years in Azure data engineering and data platforms.
• Proven Microsoft Fabric implementation experience.
• Advanced Python and SQL programming skills.
• Experience with Azure DWH, Data Factory, Data Lake, and SQL DB.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of networking, security, and identity in Azure.
• Experience scripting with PowerShell or ARM templates.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent Polish and residing in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise data solutions for reporting and analytics.
• Work with structured data across financial, manufacturing, procurement, and sales domains.
• Design scalable, secure data solutions on Azure using Fabric, Data Lake, and Databricks.
• Create data models and schemas to support business needs.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of data platforms.
• Ensure Azure security best practices and compliance.
• Provide troubleshooting and support for data-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a collaborative learning environment.
• Stay updated on Azure technologies and best practices.
