Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics Competence Center. You will design and build modern data platforms on Microsoft Fabric, integrating enterprise sources for analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities include scaling data pipelines, modeling data for business insights, and mentoring junior engineers while maintaining security and cost efficiency in Azure. Fluency in Polish and residence in Poland are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Azure data engineering and data platform.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric implementation projects.
• Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, Azure DWH, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, etc.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of networking, security, identity management, and serverless computing in Azure.
• Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell, ARM templates, or similar tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent Polish required
• Residing in Poland required
• Nice to have: Azure certifications
• Nice to have: experience with ERP data extraction or API development

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain data solutions on an enterprise-level platform for reporting and analytics
• Work with structured data across financial, manufacturing, procurement, and sales domains
• Design and implement scalable, robust data solutions on Azure using Fabric and related services
• Create and maintain efficient data models and schemas for business needs
• Optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
• Ensure security best practices and compliance across Azure architecture
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot data-related issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business goals
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster learning
• Stay updated with latest Azure technologies and best practices
