Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a pharmaceutical project. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions that support advanced analytics and global decision-making.

You will build a modern data platform, implement Python-based pipelines, collaborate with Agile teams, and help migrations and integrations across evolving business environments. Strong AWS experience and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields.
• Strong Python development skills with object-oriented programming and Pandas.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Solid understanding of cloud-based architectures and scalable data engineering solutions.
• Experience working in Agile teams and modern software development practices.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a modern Data Engineering platform supporting data-driven business processes and analytics.
• Design and implement scalable data engineering solutions using modern Python development practices.
• Build reliable and maintainable data pipelines following object-oriented design principles.
• Collaborate with agile, cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support platform migrations, enhancements, and integrations across evolving business environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within existing data and processing pipelines.
