Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics Competency Center in Poland. You will design, build, and optimize scalable data processing platforms in Data Lake/Data Platform architectures and collaborate with analytics teams.

Requirements include 4+ years in large-volume data projects, strong SQL and Python, Spark/PySpark, and Azure cloud tooling (Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric). Fluent English and Polish, on-site in Poland.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in projects processing and integrating large volumes of data.
Strong SQL and Python skills.
Experience with Spark/PySpark.
Designing Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions.
Ability to build ETL/ELT pipelines and use data orchestration tools.
Hands-on Azure cloud data processing (Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric).
Fluent in English and Polish.

Responsibilities

Designing, building, and developing scalable data processing platforms in Data Lake / Data Platform architecture.
Creating and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from various sources in Azure Databricks.
Data modeling and structuring data for analytics and business needs.
Implementing data processing solutions (batch and near real-time).
Monitoring, optimizing, and developing existing pipelines and workflows.
Collaborating with data analysts, BI teams, and Data Science teams to provide data.
Gathering business requirements and proposing optimal solutions.
Creating and maintaining technical documentation for developed solutions.
Supporting and mentoring less experienced team members.
