Jit is seeking a senior Data Engineer to join a Nordic-focused financial data project in Poland. You will design scalable data models and pipelines, integrate enterprise APIs, and own end-to-end deliveries from requirements to production.

Expect a hybrid work setup with a strong emphasis on modern engineering practices. You’ll work with SQL, Python, Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow, collaborating with stakeholders and tech teams to ensure robust, maintainable data solutions and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python.
• Proven experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow.
• Strong data modelling skills and experience designing scalable and resilient data pipelines.
• Experience with API integrations and modern data architectures.
• Solid software engineering practices, including Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of end-to-end deliveries.

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain data models and resilient data pipelines.
• Own deliveries end-to-end, from requirements and implementation through testing and production deployment.
• Build and optimize data solutions using SQL, Python, Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow.
• Integrate data from enterprise APIs and other data sources.
• Drive automation and apply modern engineering practices, including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Ensure the long-term maintainability, stability, and reliability of delivered solutions.
