Job summary

Jit Team in Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support a Recovery Data Management project for a Nordic financial client. You will design and implement scalable data models and pipelines, collaborating with business stakeholders and tech teams in an international environment.

The role is hybrid with 2–3 days per week in the office in Gdynia/Gdańsk/Warszawa, focusing on SQL, Python, Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python.
• Proven experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow.
• Strong data modelling skills and experience designing scalable data pipelines.
• Experience with API integrations and modern data architectures.
• Solid software engineering practices, including Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of end-to-end deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain data models and pipelines.
• Own end-to-end deliveries from requirements to production deployment.
• Build and optimize data solutions using SQL, Python, Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow.
• Integrate data from enterprise APIs and other data sources.
• Drive automation and apply modern engineering practices, including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Ensure the long-term maintainability, stability, and reliability of delivered solutions.
