Job summary

The Codest invites an experienced Data Platform Engineer to join our Warsaw-based team. You will develop and automate data tooling while supporting cross-functional product, technical, and analytics squads to deliver data-driven services.

You will work with Python and JVM languages, leverage Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Composer, Dataproc, Cloud Run), and apply strong SQL/PySpark skills in a Linux environment. English must be at least B2+.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of commercial experience in data engineering.
• Proficient in Python and JVM languages (Java/Kotlin/Scala).
• Strong SQL and PySpark knowledge.
• Experience with Docker and Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Composer, Dataproc, Cloud Run).
• Good English (B2+)

Responsibilities

• Develop and automate tools in the Data Platform area.
• Support client's product, technical, and analytical teams in building data-driven solutions.
• Resolve issues via channels (Slack, email, OpsGenie).
• Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams.
• Keep knowledge up-to-date and embrace emerging tech like Generative AI.
