Job summary

DataEdge SRL is seeking an experienced Senior (Big) Data Engineer to contribute to large-scale data platform initiatives. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines utilizing cloud technologies, particularly in a GCP-based environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong SQL skills and a background in event-driven architectures.

Candidates need to have 6–8 years of data engineering experience and fluency in Polish. This position offers a hybrid work model with opportunities for growth in a technologically advanced setting.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in Data Engineering roles.
• Experience with a major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Production experience with Apache Spark, using Python/PySpark.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Develop, optimize, and operate Apache Spark jobs using PySpark.
• Collaborate with analytics, platform, and product teams.
