Ocado Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Data Engineering Platform in Kraków. You will build and operate core data pipelines, APIs, and services powering analytics across Ocado Smart Platform (OSP) and Ocado Mobile Robotics Solutions (OMRS).

You will modernise the platform by addressing technical debt, tuning Airflow, and optimising cloud resources. You’ll work in a collaborative, distributed team, delivering scalable data capabilities and secure interfaces for stakeholders,

Formación

• Strong Python software development experience.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform or similar.
• DevOps practices knowledge (CI/CD, source control).
• Fluent English; ability to work with global teams.
• Experience with cloud data tools (GCP, BigQuery).

Responsabilidades

• Build, operate, and improve data pipelines and APIs powering analytics for OSP and OMRS.
• Write and evolve Infrastructure as Code for cloud environments.
• Tune Airflow/Composer and optimise DAGs to reduce waste and improve performance.
• Monitor, alert, and incident response to maintain system health and trust.
• Maintain a live, customer-facing slot-availability application with high reliability.
