Job summary

Ocado Group in Krakow is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and operate data pipelines powering analytics for the Ocado Smart Platform (OSP) and Ocado Mobile Robotics Solutions (OMRS). You will join the Data Engineering Platform team, delivering scalable data infrastructure and pipelines across multiple warehouse automation platforms.

The role requires hands-on experience with Airflow, Python, GCP IaC, SQL, and dbt, along with performance tuning and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Experience with Airflow orchestration and tuning.
• Ability to identify and reduce cloud costs and optimize queries.
• Proficiency in Python software engineering.
• Hands-on experience with GCP IaC (Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation).
• Experience with Terraform/OpenTofu for IaC.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and enhance data pipelines powering analytics and reporting.
• Maintain and scale core data infrastructure and warehousing for analytics platforms.
