Job summary

Xebia Group is seeking a skilled data engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for migration to BigQuery. You will develop ingestion and transformation pipelines with a strong focus on data quality while orchestrating workloads and delivering production-grade data products for reporting and analytics.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and SQL with hands-on BigQuery experience.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and semi-structured data.
• Strong data modeling and schema design skills for scalable data platforms.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow/Cloud Composer or similar.
• Knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of data quality, validation, testing, and monitoring approaches.
• Exposure to modern cloud-native data architectures and dbt is a plus.
• Nice to have Looker or BI/analytics consumption layer familiarity.
