Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our data engineering team in a rapidly growing environment where data is the main product. You will design and maintain robust data pipelines on Azure Databricks, supporting key business functions and delivering trusted datasets to clients.

You will collaborate with engineers, data analysts, and product owners to build scalable lakehouse architectures, define standards, and mentor junior team members while optimizing performance,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, dbt and Python.
• Experience in technical leadership and mentoring team members.
• Very good command of English (C1).
• Willingness to visit the Krakow office once a month.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced data pipelines in Azure Databricks.
• Create scalable data architecture using lakehouse technologies.
• Define standards and best practices in Data Engineering.
• Collaborate with Data Analytics, Data Science, and Product teams to deliver solutions.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and provide technical support to the team.
• Optimize performance, reliability, security, and cost of the data platform.
