Job summary

Sii Poland in Warsaw seeks a Senior Big Data Developer to design and build a modern data platform. You will craft scalable data solutions using Databricks and the Azure ecosystem, and implement end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines while optimizing data flows across sources.

The role emphasizes working with Delta Tables, AI-assisted development tools, and modern data architectures. A strong English level and curiosity about new technologies are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong Python and PySpark hands-on experience.
• Experience with Databricks, Delta Tables, and Azure ecosystem.
• English level: advanced.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data solutions using Databricks, Python, and PySpark.
• Build and optimize batch and streaming ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Implement medallion architecture with Delta Tables.
• Integrate data from multiple sources including SFTP, Delta Tables, and Azure Event Hub.
• Support end-to-end data workflows with Azure Data Factory.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools to improve code quality, testing, and productivity.
