Job summary

DCG is seeking a Senior Data / Analytics Engineer to join our partner project's data platform in Poland. You will design and build data flows in Microsoft Fabric, create semantic models and Power BI reports, and define AI-driven KPI value streams with business stakeholders.

You will work directly with US-based clients, ensure data quality with validation tests, and explore GenAI-based data solutions using Fabric Data Agents or Copilot. Fluent English required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in data/analytics
• Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience (Lakehouse/Warehouse, pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, notebooks)
• Strong Power BI data modelling, DAX, and semantic models knowledge
• Solid SQL skills and Python/PySpark experience
• Experience integrating data from APIs, files, databases, SaaS platforms
• Interest in GenAI data solutions (text-to-SQL/DAX, Fabric Data Agents, Copilot) and basic prompt engineering
• Confident communication with business stakeholders and ability to clarify requirements
• Ability to think in terms of KPIs and business value
• Proactive and independent work style
• Fluent English for US client collaboration

Responsibilities

• Develop data flows in Microsoft Fabric from multiple sources
• Build semantic models and Power BI reports
• Define AI adoption KPIs with business stakeholders
• Provide conversational data access via semantic model (Fabric Data Agent, Copilot, or custom LLM)
• Ensure reliable responses through test questions and accuracy validation
