Job summary

Promise Group in Poland is seeking a Senior Data & AI Engineer who combines strong data engineering skills with a customer-oriented mindset. You will design and implement Data & AI solutions for clients, translating business needs into scalable technical architectures.

You will work with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, PySpark, and DAX, collaborating with data engineers, BI developers, and architects. The role offers hybrid or remote work, with a focus on knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience with Power BI including semantic model design and data modeling (star schema, relationships, calculation groups).
• Strong DAX skills and the ability to write complex measures.
• Solid working knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Fabric (lakehouses, pipelines, notebooks).
• Experience deploying AI solutions in business or customer environments.
• Ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions and deliver customer value.
• Experience working in IT services or consulting environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, with English at least B2.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Data & AI solutions for our customers.
• Collaborate with customers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor and identify opportunities for improvements.
• Design, build and maintain semantic models in Power BI with best-practices data modeling.
• Develop and implement advanced DAX measures and calculation logic.
• Work within Microsoft Fabric to support BI solutions and workflows.
• Use PySpark/SQL notebooks within Fabric for data transformations.
• Develop and deploy AI solutions and collaborate with BI engineers and architects.
• Take ownership of solutions from design to deployment and continuously improve performance.
