Job summary

DCG Poland is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our clients' data projects. You will design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS, work with SQL Server and T‑SQL, and manage Snowflake cloud data platform deployments.

You will ensure data quality, implement validations, optimize queries, and monitor job scheduling (SQL Server Agent). Fluent English required; Polish language beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Proven SSIS ETL package development and maintenance experience.
• Practical SQL Server Agent scheduling and monitoring knowledge.
• Understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and dimensional modelling.
• Git or other version control experience.
• Experience with Snowflake cloud data platform.
• Ability to implement data validation and quality controls in ETL processes.
• Experience in database maintenance, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Strong hands-on work with SQL Server and T‑SQL to develop data solutions.
• Develop and maintain ETL packages using SSIS across multiple sources.
• Schedule, monitor, and optimize SQL Server Agent jobs.
• Design, develop, and maintain stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Implement data validation and quality checks within ETL workflows.
• Work with ETL concepts, data warehousing, and dimensional modelling.
• Manage changes and deployments; perform data quality assurance.
• Carry out database maintenance, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with teams; apply strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ensure high-quality English communication in all tasks.
