Job summary

Promise Group in Warsaw leads as a Microsoft partner, delivering Data & AI solutions to international clients. The Senior Data & AI Engineer designs and implements BI solutions, builds semantic models in Power BI, and translates client needs into scalable data architectures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, BI, Data & Analytics or a similar technical role.
• Deep, hands-on experience with Power BI, including semantic model design and data modelling.
• Strong DAX skills - comfortable writing complex measures.
• Solid working knowledge of SQL.
• Working familiarity with Microsoft Fabric (lakehouses, pipelines, notebooks).
• Hands-on experience developing Data Agents in Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with deploying AI solutions in a business or customer environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Data & AI solutions for our customers.
• Translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, proactively recommending improvements and opportunities.
• Design, build and maintain semantic models in Power BI with strong data modelling practices.
• Develop advanced DAX measures and calculations to support complex reporting needs.
• Build and maintain high-quality, scalable Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Use SQL to analyse, transform and prepare data feeding into models.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI Developers, Architects and other specialists.
• Participate in customer meetings and presales activities.
• Take ownership of technical solutions from design through deployment.
• Troubleshoot and improve existing solutions.
