Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant with German to support European energy transmission initiatives. You will drive project controls, cost and schedule management, and stakeholder coordination across Germany and Europe.

Travel to project sites is expected, with a mix of in-office and remote work. The role requires 3+ years in transmission or energy infrastructure, fluency in German (C1 preferred) and strong English communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
At least 3 years of professional experience in transmission grid or energy infrastructure construction projects.
Very good German language skills (C1 preferred) and professional English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Support the full lifecycle of large-scale transmission grid, cable infrastructure, and energy projects from planning through execution and commissioning.
Provide consulting and project management support for transmission network expansion and modernization initiatives.
Perform project controls activities including cost management, schedule planning, and quality management.
Monitor project performance against budgets, schedules, milestones, risks, and quality objectives.
Coordinate activities among clients, engineering contractors, TSOs, regulators, and project teams.
Prepare and present project reports, management updates, steering committee materials, and client presentations.
