Job summary

Morris Habitat for Humanity (Randolph, NJ) is seeking a Project Manager to oversee construction from permitting through family move-in, coordinating on-site staff, volunteers, materials, and subcontractors.

The role requires ensuring schedules, budgets, and compliance with safety standards, while managing relationships with vendors and donors to support home builds for qualified families.

Qualifications

• Must have prior construction experience; 2+ years as a construction project manager highly desirable.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 suite (SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel).
• Proficient with Procore or similar PM software.
• Experience preparing bids and writing contracts.
• Ability to manage others to successfully complete jobs.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee yearly construction budget and review with staff.
• Develop relationships with suppliers and contractors for competitive pricing and in-kind donations.
• Review and approve construction invoices and material take-offs.
• Delegate and approve procurement; prepare bids and RFQs.
• Coordinate and meet regularly with Construction Management Team to ensure quality.
