Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager to lead the design management function on high-rise residential schemes, coordinating architects, engineers and specialist subcontractors to deliver design information on programme.

You will chair design teams, manage RFIs and changes, and work closely with site teams to resolve technical challenges while ensuring compliance with Building Regulations, the Building Safety Act and gateway requirements.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Senior Design Manager or experienced Design Manager within a main contractor environment.
• Strong track record delivering high-rise residential projects, including new build developments.
• Experience managing recladding, façade remediation or external envelope projects.
• Excellent knowledge of design coordination, technical delivery and construction sequencing.
• Strong understanding of Building Regulations, fire safety requirements and the Building Safety Act.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams and build strong relationships with clients and consultants.

Job DescriptionAn established building contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex residential projects is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Design Manager. With a strong pipeline of work across high‑rise residential developments, including both new build schemes and major recladding and remediation projects, this is an opportunity to take a lead role on technically challenging projects from pre‑construction through to completion. Working closely with operational teams, consultants and clients, you’ll be responsible for driving the design process, managing technical risk and ensuring design information is delivered to programme across live projects.
