Job summary

Qualifications

• Technical or vocational education in aircraft maintenance or related field.
• Advanced training in aircraft composite repair techniques.
• Thorough knowledge of composite repair processes, bonding, vacuum bagging, curing, and structural repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret CMM, SRM, Engineering Orders, OEM repair instructions, and other approved documentation.
• Good understanding of Part-145 requirements and responsibilities of certifying staff.
• Completion of regulatory and company training for Composite Certifying Staff authorization.
• Knowledge of Human Factors, Fuel Tank Safety, EWIS (where applicable).
• Good computer skills and experience with electronic maintenance documentation and workshop systems.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Perform composite repair activities per approved maintenance data and procedures.
• Inspect work and ensure conformity with technical and regulatory requirements.
• Certify maintenance within the scope of certifying staff authorization.
• Issue or support release documentation per Part-145 requirements and procedures.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed, inspected, and documented before certification.
• Verify latest approved maintenance data (CMM, SRM, OEM repair instructions) is used.
• Provide technical guidance to Composite Technicians during complex repairs.
• Support Shop Supervisor in resolving technical issues and assessing repair risks.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and traceability of materials and consumables.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and FOD prevention.
