Job summary

ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S), part of Munich Re and ERGO Group, seeks a Senior Broker Collection Associate to manage advanced accounting tasks related to broker settlements.

The role supports financial closing, payments, and receivables while improving workflows and ensuring compliance with IFRS, HGB, and local regulatory requirements. The position requires 3+ years in the insurance sector, fluency in German and English (B2/C1), and a degree in Business

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance/Accounting.
• 3+ years of professional experience in the insurance sector with focus on financial accounting, billing and payments.
• Strong knowledge of insurance contracts law and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent system skills, especially SAP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute complex accounting processes for broker settlements (premium, commission, and assistance) for national and international partners.
• Post and reconcile general and subsidiary ledgers in accordance with HGB, GOB and IFRS; participate in monthly, quarterly and year-end closing.
• Handle domestic and international payments and receivables and support financial closing tasks.
• Act as a primary contact for internal and external partners to provide support with technical questions and onboarding.
