Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is seeking a Senior Collateral Administration Specialist in Kraków. The role supports daily collateral administration, monitors queues, and coordinates with global teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure quality.

You will guide junior members and participate in onboarding, testing, and process improvements. BBH offers a hybrid work model with office presence in Kraków and supportive professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 1–2 years of collateral operations or related financial services experience.
• Understanding of custody, securities servicing, trade management or collateral administration.
• Strong analytical, investigation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to identify operational risks and elevate potential exposure appropriately.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and within a global team.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee daily collateral administration activities in line with procedures, controls and client requirements.
• Monitor operational queues, communications and outstanding collateral items.
• Investigate discrepancies and exceptions, coordinating their resolution with relevant parties.
• Ensure daily quality, completeness and timeliness standards are met.
• Support the prioritization of daily activities and effective handovers between global teams.
• Review selected work completed by other team members.
• Identify, document and escalate operational errors, control gaps and potential risk exposures.
• Provide professional and timely responses to clients, counterparties and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and review operational and management reports.
• Support the Supervisor with workload coordination, operational controls and issue management.
• Provide guidance and backup support to other team members.
• Participate in client onboarding, testing, process migrations and change initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, controls and service quality.
• Maintain accurate procedures and process documentation.
