Job summary

Relativity, a leading legal data intelligence company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on the SRE team to design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable software across the RelativityOne cloud platform.

This is a hands-on role focused on coding, automation, and improving observability, with collaboration across engineering, infra, and product to deliver highly available systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering roles.
• Proficient in Python, Go, Java, or C# (.NET).
• Experience building scalable, distributed systems.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps.
• Experience with Azure and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Strong collaboration and communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain reliable, observable systems.
• Develop automation and tooling to support reliability and incident response.
• Define and improve SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.
• Extend CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Support root cause analysis and long-term fixes through code/automation.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems.
• Collaborate to embed SRE principles through software solutions.
• Evaluate new tools and approaches to improve performance and reliability.
