Job summary

Riverland Reply is seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and operation of scalable cloud platforms in a hybrid Katowice setting. You will work with Cloud Architects and engineering teams to shape infrastructure at scale.

You will own IaC using Terraform/Terragrunt, drive GitOps pipelines, and mentor engineers while improving observability, security, and cost optimization across AWS and Azure.

Qualifications

• University studies in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a comparable field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, operating, and scaling cloud platforms in production.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms and Kubernetes including AWS and Azure.
• Infrastructure as Code, automation, and operations with Terraform/Terragrunt and CI/CD.
• Security, governance, and cost optimization including FinOps as a plus.
• Analytical and decision-making skills with Agile/DevOps delivery and Jira/Confluence.
• Excellent English and Polish; German a plus; hybrid work in Katowice.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and operation of scalable cloud platforms.
• Own IaC solutions using Terraform/Terragrunt and Git-based CI/CD workflows.
• Lead teams in building persistent automation with AI-enabled agents.
• Design, operate, and improve Kubernetes platforms for production workloads.
• Architect and implement advanced automation for reliability and scalability.
• Drive integration and operation of managed cloud services across AWS and Azure.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to platform roadmap and tooling choices.
