Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel IT is seeking a skilled cloud engineer to manage, develop and support the infrastructure powering global systems. This role focuses on delivering scalable, secure cloud environments to enable timely and reliable services worldwide.

You will design and maintain AWS landing zones, automate provisioning with Terraform, and ensure governance, security, and operational reliability across environments, while collaborating with engineering and security teams.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS platform engineering and landing zones.
• Experience with AWS multi-account environments, governance, and standardized configurations.
• Proficient in Terraform/IaC for reusable modules and automation.
• Solid understanding of AWS networking and security (VPCs, subnets, IAM, encryption).
• Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, and incident on-call support.
• Scripting in Bash or Python to automate operations.
• Nice to have: Kubernetes, serverless AWS services, CloudFormation; multi-cloud exposure.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve AWS landing zones and multi-account environments.
• Automate account onboarding and provisioning with standardized configurations.
• Design and maintain AWS networking, security controls, and guardrails.
• Develop Terraform modules and IaC for cloud provisioning.
• Monitor health, security, and reliability of cloud platforms; participate in on-call.
• Create clear technical documentation for landing zones and platform components.
