Job summary

Luxoft Poland's Cloud Fleet Engineering team is building and scaling cloud services for remote device management, OTA updates, and observability across a global edge fleet. As a senior engineer, you will drive reliability, security, and performance of multi-region AWS infrastructure and mentor teammates.

You will own CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with hardware, product, and other engineering teams, and help define long-term technical strategy for a scalable, secure API ecosystem powering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with AWS services: EKS, S3, SQS, RDS, Cognito, Lambda.
• Python or Go production services.
• Experience with SQL and various DBs; performant queries.
• Kubernetes in production.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration.
• Design and operate scalable APIs/microservices.
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership.
• Experience in Agile DevOps/SRE practices.

Responsibilities

• Participate in incident prevention, response, and remediation efforts, learning and applying best practices.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud services that support device observability, OTA updates, and fleet operations.
• Lead efforts to improve the reliability, security, and performance of multi-region AWS infrastructure using IaC tools.
• Own CI/CD pipelines for cloud services, enabling efficient, secure, and automated delivery processes.
• Set and uphold high standards for software engineering and DevOps practices across the team, including incident response, monitoring, and postmortems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including hardware, product, and other engineering teams—to define system requirements and deliver robust end-to-end solutions.
• Drive architectural decisions, perform code reviews, and contribute to long-term technical strategy for cloud services.
• Mentor junior engineers and share expertise in cloud technologies, software and architectural design patterns.
