Job summary

Samba is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP. You will lead architecture and automation initiatives, ensuring secure, scalable, and highly available systems.

You will drive IaC with Terraform, manage Kubernetes clusters, and collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Security teams to meet business objectives. Proficiency in scripting and cloud security is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles with senior responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS or GCP).
• Expert-level experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and infrastructure automation.
• Extensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes in designing, deploying, and managing clusters at scale.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash) and strong understanding of cloud security principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable, secure cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Architect, deploy, and manage production-grade Kubernetes clusters for containerized apps.
• Define and enforce cloud standards, patterns, and best practices across the organization.
