Job summary

We are seeking a motivated Junior Cloud Engineer to support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of cloud infrastructure, systems, and services. This role is ideal for an early‑career cloud professional looking to gain hands‑on experience in cloud operations, DevOps practices, automation, and infrastructure management while collaborating with multiple teams across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automation.
• Monitor cloud environments, ensure reliability, availability, and performance, and troubleshoot issues under guidance.
• Maintain cloud documentation, operational procedures, and best practices.
• Support cloud security best practices, IAM, access controls, monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Optimize resource usage and cost management initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with internal operational and security standards.
• Collaborate across cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Product, Operations, Security) and participate in discussions and knowledge sharing.
• Translate technical tasks and requirements into clear updates and documentation.
• Continuously learn new cloud technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, IT infrastructure, or related roles.
• Hands‑on exposure to AWS or GCP cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Basic experience with Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Knowledge of scripting or automation using Python or Bash.
• Understanding of cloud security fundamentals and networking concepts.
• Strong willingness to learn, troubleshoot, and grow within a cloud engineering role.
• Good communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Salary & Benefits

Base salary range: 170,000 PLN – 235,000 PLN per year. Salary depends on experience, performance, and location. Additional rewards may include bonuses, short‑term and long‑term incentives.
