Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Senior Clinical Data Manager to lead CDM for one or more studies within our sponsor-dedicated team. You’ll act as the main client contact, oversee eCRF design, data cleaning, and study set-up through close-out, and collaborate with CDMs, Data Coordinators, and programmers.

This role requires a life-sciences degree, 8+ years in CDM with sponsor management, strong leadership and communication skills, and deep knowledge of CDM processes, SDTM/CDASH, and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• University degree in life sciences or related field.
• Extensive experience in clinical data management with sponsor management.
• Proven leadership in studies within CRO/Pharma settings.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides CDM leadership for one or more assigned projects with global accountability.
• Lead studies including diverse populations and multi-site logistics with client management.
• Management and oversight of vendor contracts, resourcing and budgets.
• Primary point of contact for Clinical Data Management at program level.
• Ensure consistency of data quality plans and regulatory standards across programs.
• Oversee external vendors or in-house teams to deliver quality data.
• Manage risk and escalate issues related to CDM improvements or tech.
• Develop understanding of CDASH/SDTM and related standards for programming impact.
• Mentor CDM colleagues and stakeholders and lead project activities as needed.
