Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Senior Clinical Data Manager to lead data management activities across late-phase studies in a remote or hybrid setup. You will serve as the technical leader, develop DM and QM plans, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, timelines, and budget adherence.

You will collaborate with clinical, programming, statistics, and drug safety teams, driving process improvements, risk management, and staff development in a global data management environment.

Qualifications

• University/college degree in life sciences or related field preferred.
• Certification in allied health fields considered in lieu of degree.
• Lead experience across Late Phase trials (IIb-III).
• EDC experience, ideally RAVE; familiarity with other EDCs is advantageous.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Deep knowledge of clinical trial process, data management, quality management, and related systems.
• Understanding CRO regulatory obligations with pharma/biotech.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical leader on data management for start-up, maintenance, and completion activities.
• Develop global Data Management Plans and QM Plans ensuring timely, accurate data.
• Identify and implement data management solutions and prevention strategies.
• Liaise with project clients; manage data management status, metrics, and productivity.
• Coordinate clinical data model development and CRF/eCRF design per specifications.
• Review data acquisition conventions and data review guidelines.
• Collaborate with clinical, programming, statistics, and CDM teams to ensure data quality.
