Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Kraków seeks a Lead Engineer for CE Marking & Product Compliance for the AP1000 Poland Project Engineering Organization. You will provide technical leadership for European regulatory compliance across engineering scope and coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and construction.

The role involves developing CE marking strategies for equipment and systems, working with Notified Bodies and regulatory authorities, and guiding conformity assessments.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of engineering experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years in engineering, regulatory compliance or related functions.
• Experience with CE Marking, product conformity assessment, and European regulatory frameworks.
• Knowledge of CPR, PED, Machinery Regulation, EMC, and LV Directive.
• Experience with Notified Bodies and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead CE marking and product compliance strategies for Poland project equipment and modules.
• Coordinate cross-functional regulatory requirements across Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Licensing, and Construction.
• Interface with customers, suppliers, constructors, Notified Bodies, and regulators.
• Guide conformity assessments and documentation: DoCs, DoPs, technical files, risk assessments.
• Support design releases for procurement and turnover to supply chain; align with milestones.
• Mentor project teams on CE marking procedures and regulatory obligations.
