Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Poland seeks a Senior Supplier Performance Engineer to oversee supplier performance for critical metal work components within the AP1000 program in Europe. You will manage supplier evaluations, qualification activities and ensure adherence to quality and technical standards.

You will lead remediation efforts, drive process improvements, and coordinate with Quality and Project teams to ensure on-time delivery and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical/Material Engineering.
• Fluent in Polish and English.
• Working knowledge of Manufacturing and Quality Plans, PFMEAs.
• +5 years of experience on similar role.
• Experience leading multiple projects.
• Experience with nuclear products and standards (ASME).
• Experience with NDE/NDT processes.
• Personal, industrial and nuclear safety as an important area of concern.
• Knowledge about Design-To-Manufacturing and Manufacturing Readiness Level process.
• Experience performing process capability analysis and qualification.
• Willing to travel to the supplier Workshop based in Europe.
• Experience in large projects execution.
• Experience with US standards and norms (ASME, AWS).

Responsibilities

• Oversee supplier evaluations and development for complex technical products and processes.
• Lead supplier development and qualification activities for new products and cost reduction.
• Define witness and hold points during the manufacturing process.
• Coordinate supplier documentation reviews with appropriate Westinghouse functions.
• Provide regular progress reports to the Project Manager and Program Director.
• Support the Supplier Quality Organization in quality surveillance for projects.
• Manage flow-down of Quality and Technical requirements to suppliers (NQA-1, ISO, Design Specs).
• Develop and monitor supplier performance scorecards/dashboards.
• Implement Performance Improvement Plans and manage SCAR processes.
• Lead quality events and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers when needed.
• Travel to supplier workshops located in Europe for audits and alignment.
