Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Kraków, Poland, seeks a Supplier Performance Engineer to oversee supplier evaluations and development for complex metal components within the AP1000 program in Europe, with a focus on Poland.

You will lead supplier qualification, manage risk, ensure adherence to quality standards (NQA-1, ISO, ASME), and drive continuous improvement. Travel up to 100% to supplier workshops may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical/Materials Engineering.
• Fluent in Polish and English.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing and Quality Plans, PFMEAs.
• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience leading multiple projects.
• Experience with nuclear products and standards (ASME).
• Experience with NDE/NDT processes.
• Willing to travel up to 100% for supplier workshops (Kielce or Siedlce).

Responsibilities

• Supplier evaluation and development assesses suppliers' capabilities for complex technical products and processes.
• Lead supplier development and qualification activities and mitigate project risks.
• Define witness and hold points during the manufacturing.
• Oversee main supplier operations and document results, taking action as needed.
• Support Quality surveillance with Supplier Quality Organization.
• Manage flow-down of quality and technical requirements (NQA-1, ISO, ASME).
• Develop supplier performance scorecards and corrective actions.
• Coordinate supplier documentation reviews.
