Job summary

Ericsson GmbH in Krakow seeks a Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain Controller 6610 software components. You will work with C++, Java and Python, contribute to automated testing, CI/CD, and collaborate with global teams on large telecom systems.

You will hold a BSc/MSc in CS or related, have strong Linux skills, know Git tools, and enjoy solving problems in an international environment with hybrid work from Krakow.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics or related technical field.
• Strong software development skills in C++, Java and/or Python.
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and automation agents.
• Familiarity with Git version control system and collaborative development practices.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and software automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in international teams.
• High level of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software components for Controller 6610 products and supporting applications.
• Analyze, investigate and troubleshoot complex software and system-level issues.
• Participate in feature development throughout the entire software lifecycle, from requirements to delivery.
• Develop and improve automated testing, verification and CI/CD workflows.
• Contribute to software quality, maintainability and continuous improvements of the engineering environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams located in multiple Ericsson sites worldwide.
• Work with modern development tools.
• Support software integration, system verification and release activities.
